The Woodvale Tavern

Have been here in the past and great experience at first but food quality started to turn downhill so we stopped going. However, on our recent visit on a Tuesday night, we really enjoyed our meal and service. Ribs were cooked to perfection, so soft that it just falls off the bone. Chicken wing comes with 2 choices, smokey BBQ or hot buffalo sauce. If you don’t like the spicy sour flavours, go for the BBQ. Friendly staff who came to check at the table if everything was going well. Went to the Woodvale today for lunch with my daughter and to say it was disappointing would be an understatement. We ordered the steak pies and what a mistake that turned out to be. The potatoes were like slop and the vegetables cold and undercooked. The pie I received was cold in the middle and inedible. I had no option but to hand it back and get a refund. While I was getting my refund another patron was also in the process of complaining about her meal. Given that there are other and better establishments within 5 to 10 minutes of the Woodvale I reckon it’s my last visit.

I attended with friends Sat evening 28th Jan, the venue meals are good l enjoy going there, I am used to loud music don't generally have an issue with but that night Darren Reid's band was on, he is very entertaining but far too loud to properly enjoy the experience, it was very uncomfortable, we had to move right away to the stable area. Also I dont think the Air Con unit above the dance floor is working, making it very hot, I have noticed this on 2 visits this month

Brilliant pub with a great atmosphere and lovely food. I visited the Woodvale when staying in Perth with family, there was 16 of us and all our meals and drinks were perfect and we received a lovely welcome from Danielle the lady in charge and all of her staff were also so friendly, we will definitely be going back again and would recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for somewhere to eat or just have a drink and watch sport on the tv.

We met friends for the all you can eat Sunday roast which has 3 different meats with all the vegetables plus soup to start and desert to finish Excellent value for only $34. and busy as usual
