Very disappointed that the menu offered was not the same as that offered online. Not a lot of choice. Food was very basic peas were hard, very small piece of plaice, quiche pastry was too hard. However, landlords are very pleasant.
We made a great choice by stopping here for a quick meal on our way home. My son really enjoyed it and we will definitely be coming back.
The restaurant is a nice place with attractive dishes that I didn't personally try, but looked delicious on other diners' tables.
Lamb shanks was gorgeous and fell off the bone. Cauliflower cheese very tasty. Friendly staff.
