Perfect temperature..not too under or over cooked.And the pita bread is lightly glazed with oil and thrown on the grill as well so you get a nicely perfectly toasted pita bread. I've never encountered any other girls place ever that has done that they try to get you in and out...

That makes no sense. And once again, you're lying about offering me a drink. You did not. I can't believe this is how you chose to respond. Blaming customers for issues with your food instead of taking responsibility is shameful, rude, and disrespectful.
Cheese fries are meant to be covered in cheese, or at least have it on most of the fries. I used to love this burger place, but that changed today. When I ordered, I had to ask the employee why he seemed so negative, and it turned out it was because they only put cheese on top of the cheese fries, leaving the middle and bottom without any. I ended up being charged extra just to get a proper order of cheese fries. It seems like they don’t mind losing customers instead of addressing the issue.
When you find a local neighborhood spot that just screams family and the food takes you back to your childhood, that's a place you want to keep going back to. Hands down best gyros in town and the tzatziki sauce definitely makes them stand out. Very friendly service and clean establishment. Not to mention the pricing is more affordable than other places with a similar menu. It's located in a small strip mall next to Walgreens, but once you find it you won't forget it.

Been a customer since 1978 when it opened. There have been a few changes in ownership over the last 10 years, but the food quality has come back to an excellent level again. Love the gyros. The meat, the bread and how it’s cooked, and the sauce are amazing. But their gyros are not the only food they serve. Make a trip . It’s worth it.
The Works is a Glenview institution serving the best Chicago drive-in fare. Its heyday may be behind it, but this venerable grill still pumps out some of the best Greek food in the area. It's changed subtlety over the decades, but it remains a fine place to catch up with old friends in a familiar setting. Long live The Works!
I had been coming here for over 20 years but as other reviewers have pointed out, sadly the portions served and quality is not what it was years ago. No longer my go to spot.
One of the best Gyros in the Chicagoland area. Extremely authentic ran by great people. Will for sure be back to try pork gyros.
