Nothing but the best gyros in Chicago, or IMHO. Anywhere in the world! As George would have said 'The Best! Just for you! ' Part of my growing up was weekly 'Works Run ', Sauce is perfect, meat perfectly seasoned, Pita, warm and perfect, and friendly people! Love Andy, and miss them terribly. Nothing compares to The Works!
Skip Greek town and head to the works! Best gyros in chicago hands down. I live in Northbrook but make a trip to the works regularly. Also the owner and the crew treat you like family every time you come in.
The food was excellent, and as a brand new customer I felt welcomed immediately upon entering.
