My family and I have been going to the Yeeros shop at Marrickville for years (about 30 plus) and the Yeeros there is the best in Sydney. It beats Victoria Yeeros and even all the NEW Yeeros (Gyros) shops hands down. The one added extra the Yeeros Shop has is not just their Yeeros but also their chips (Fries) They fantastic, and when you add heaps of chicken salt they are divine.I highly recommend the Yeeros Shop over any other Yeeros shop in Sydney
Well, if you had gone in Greece, you would not find gyros or yeeros that resembled those of those. The gyros were dry and inedible, while the Souvlaki showed nothing like grilled chicken. Maybe you could be more generous with your sauce and add more Mayonnaise to the gyros. I have to give up half way. Why was this review 4.3 on Earth?
Lamb yeeros is good as I remember but I'm writing this to comment on the chips. They are wonderful but tread carefully. Too much of a good thing can be dangerous. These are 1970s style chips - heavy and rich. Like chips used to be in this country. Like you still find in France (probably England too but I don't go to England).
Been coming here since I was a small child and nothing has change the the hot chips outstanding and like always hard to pick what to have as everything is awesome normally go a mixed yeeros with everything. This is why we still travel 2 hours each way once a month to get our Saturday night dinner. Book a table now
This place has amazing chicken Yerros, always ask for a hand full of chips inside it and BBQ sauce. It's amazing, always taste the same. The chips with tomato sauce is also fantastic. Probably one of the best chips I've had in Sydney. The service is good, the staff are always friendly and relaxed.
Great cheap food! Seriously not much more from a yeeros shop. It's not quite like a gyrus in Greece, PF course, but at this price with this great dose and this taste ... I loved it !! There are many seating available and very friendly staff. In any case, go!
Small chips and a lamb yiros, soooo delicious. I think I found a place better than Yiro Yiro. It was reasonable price and the lamb was juicy. I would definitely come back for a feed and catch up friends.
I have come here for over 15 years, they have the best chips in Sydney. Normally I changed between the order of a chicken burger and a lamb to take home, and I have barely discomfort. Grief Grief Book a table now
Nowhere else i know still serve these classic chips, hands down the best you can expect anywhere. Yeeros is still pretty good value but save room for the chippies.
