Thessaloniki - Table reservation

I am celiac and I kindly asked the waiter to help me out choosing the dishes for eating out there. She just handed me a menu of the dishes with the common allergen labelling (a-f). However I noticed that the pizza was not labeled with A (containing gluten). I was surprised about this and I kindly asked the waiter how can that be possible. She just ignored me and just said 'we make without it '. I tried to ask again but she just repeated that they don 't make without it. I went away since I cannot risk my health because some waiter are stubborn and don 't want to help their customers.

I had the warm red peppers stuffed with Feta Cheese Starter. The Cheese was over-herbed, and I didn't like it, but the peppers were ok. For mains I had a Lamb Shank with White beans and tomato sauce which was very nice. The white bread and beer was also very nice. I was presented an ouzo without requesting. I found the price very reasonable. The restaurant was warn and the staff friendly.

My celiac boyfriend and I were interested in this restaurant because of the possible gluten-free dishes they offered. However, the staff were very rude and did not know any of the allergens contained in the dishes. To add insult to injury, their allergen card had incorrect or no symbols for certain dishes (e.g. a pizza had no A, which is impossible since they use dough).

We ordered bifteki, and gyros with french fries, and octopus with garlic potatoes. The food was ok given the price however nothing out of the ordinary. Based on the other reviews the comparatively high expectations were not really met. Food lacking spices but still solid; was served fast. Book a table now

The price performance ratio was good. The room was cozy and clean. Breakfast leaves hardly any wishes open.The house is very central, bicycle path near the Main. We will definitely visit this pension again and recommend it to everyone. Fam. Muchla

The rooms are thin and sometimes you can hear the person snoring in the room next door. The people at the reception were friendly. We had a nice room looking onto the Main river.

Nice, friendly, quick service. Large choice of Greek dishes. We got a quick lunch on Saturday on our way to Austria.
