I visited Sa, June 17th, with a friend. Whilst there, we were a bit peckish, so we ordered the sharing cheese board platter, priced at £13.95. What a disappointment! It was so poor, both in presentation and content. It is supposedly served with a selection of biscuits, a house chutney and pickles. When it arrived, it was so unimaginably dull and unappetising. We weren’t even offered a plate each, having to just use a napkin on the table. Not even a cheese knife! A few measly pieces of drying out cheese, THE tiniest bowl of poor, bitter tasting ‘chutney’, it was embarrassingly small for TWO people, not a pickle in sight, no explanation why, no alternative, a sprig of seen better days rocket (...

We go quite often to Piggies and its always spot on but today it was quite poor. We got chinese pork pancakes to start 5 pancakes,3 pieces of cremated pork ?? One pancake left with nothing to go in it. I did inform the manager when she asked us how the starter that it was a poor portion to which she replied i will let the kitchen know Onto the chicken burger ! Three tiny pieces of overcooked chicken,a slice of cold processed cheese and the gloopiest lumpy gravy ever. The bun was a cheap bun unlike the brioche they used to be served in. This meal is now priced at £15 !!! We understand everything has gone up but the standard of food has dropped dramatically. I did speak to a manager who said i...

I would honestly give more than 5 stars if I could. I celebrated my 50th upstairs in three piggies in the private room on Saturday. The room is a perfect size, I had about 45 people attend and there was plenty of room. You had your own private toilets and it was a decent well stocked bar. The food was delicious and it was even boxed up for people to take home. This was a lovely, unexpected touch. The staff were amazing, a big shout out needs to go to Kayleigh who worked so hard and nothing was enough trouble. I had a lot of people in my party who are now thinking of booking this venue also. I cannot praise three piggies the barn) enough.

We also visited the three piggies on the 17th of June. I’m sorry I have to disagree with the previous TripAdvisor review. The staff were very friendly attentive. It’s not a high end restaurant, I don’t believe it markets itself that way. It’s an nice place to have a good drink, which also serves quality bistro wholesome food. Our efficient and delightful waiter, Matthew, advised us what to eat and drink, he got it spot on. I would recommend anyone, in the Allerton area, who wants a nice place for a couple of drinks and maybe eat to go. Book a table now

Staff are rude and miserable, looks like there has been staff changes at management and bar level but definitely not for the better. Waited 50 minutes for food, cutlery was dumped in a tub with no communication and this was by who I assume was the manager, if she is meant to lead by example then no wonder the staff are rude. When we enquired about our food, we were told it would be a few minutes, when it eventually arrived, no apology was given. Food was nice but the staff let the whole experience down.

Decided on this place purely so we could sit out in the sunshine. The two staff serving were pleasant but we felt a little neglected as they obviously could have done with another pair of hands. The food was okay except for the desserts which were awful. The sticky toffee pudding was dry only slightly warm with hardly any sauce and served with clotted cream which I felt was an odd combination . I would return but only for drinks in the sun not food.

First visit for a while, where have all the friendly staff gone You use too be able to walk in and be greeted with a friendly face and a bit of a chat And your drinks would be brought over too you And considering the prices that was exceptable Know your lucky if you are spoken too and considering the prices the charge 5-50 for a lager When two blocks away you can get a peroni for 5-10 and be made welcome

Disappointed . Staff ignored us as we waited for the menus and it took us about 20 minutes to order drinks . As we were starving we decided to get some coffees to take away whilst we find somewhere else to eat . Took another 20 minutes for our coffees . They were cold and disgusting . Definitely will not be back Book a table now
