I am not a traditional vegetarian but I am always on the look out for the best variety for my daughter who is vegetarian. Having struggled to find vegetarian options elsewhere in Basel, what a find! Titbits made up for this. Instantly friendly and helpful, great ambience and variety that would take four of five visits to truly savour. As a vegetarian by proxy, I was so impressed with the depth of taste and innovation in the dishes I was able to try. Sometimes, the eye is bigger than the stomach but simply indulge yourself!
Die Qualität des Essens hat leider gelitten: trockene Nachos und leider viel zu teuer. Der Service ist unglaublich zuvorkommend, ausserordentlich warmherzig (beinahe penetrant freundlich) und man fühle sich gleich wie zu Hause nur da esse ich einfach keine tiefgefrorenen Falafel, die einem serviert werden. Aber die schönen Momente als Gast an über 15 Jahre tibits Basel, Bern, Zürich und auch Luzern bleiben tief in meinem Herzen.
Unfortunately, the quality of the food suffered: dry nachos and unfortunately far too expensive. The service is incredibly accommodating, extremely warm hearted (almost penetratingly friendly) and you immediately feel at home but I simply don't eat the frozen falafel that is served to you. But the beautiful moments as a guest at tibits Basel, Bern, Zurich and Lucerne for over 15 years remain deep in my heart.
Wow. Having arrived from a Rhine cruise, food amazing for vegetarians, we arrived in meat heavy Basal. Until we found this fabulous vegan and vegetarian restaurant. Its help yourself buffet and your plate is weighed for the price. Good value. All the food was delicious and changes daily. This is a must for non meat eaters and meat eaters, it might change your life style!

Das tibits habe ich Heute besucht um mit einem Freund Mittagessen einzunehmen. Gute Auswahl am Buffet, viele Brote und ein grosses Getränke Angebot. Das Raumklima und die Stimmung war offen und ungezwungen. Vergleichbar finde ich das Restaurant in der oberen Preisklasse
The food and choice are slightly better than anything we've tried so far. Some things stay on your stomach all day. Excellent chocolate cake. Excellent service, welcoming and very pleasant environment
Vegetarian, vegan and self service: the key words for who wants to eat something different in Basel! The quality is high, the place is splendid and we will come back here for sure!
Great restaurant, been here a few times. There is a buffet with a lot of choice and always other delicious things. Not even that expensive. The price depends on the weight.
