Ticas Cuisine - Table reservation

I really enjoyed the griot at this restaurant! I was disappointed that they didn't have black rice or traditional red beans and rice. The rice I did receive wasn't very good; it had all the spices and seasonings of traditional Haitian rice, but it just didn't satisfy my taste buds. I'm not sure what type of rice it was, as I've never had it at a Haitian restaurant before. This was my first time eating at this restaurant. If I decide to go back, I will call beforehand to see if they have black rice. It was also a bit expensive.

This restaurant is well worth the 50-minute drive from Clermont. The food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. Despite usually having to eat takeout because of my job, Ticas Cuisine does not feel or taste like typical takeout food. You get a lot of food for the price you pay, and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. It tastes just like homemade! #justlikemammamakesit

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the service is terrible. I drove all the way from Orlando to Poinciana, and had to go an extra 30 minutes out of my way twice. Every time I arrived at the supposed opening time, they weren't open. It's so frustrating. If you're considering eating here, I suggest coming after 1:30pm.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and tastes just like homemade. The owner is very attentive and puts a lot of effort into ensuring that you have a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a taste of Haiti. It is a must-visit if you are in the area!

To be honest, this is the only Haitian food truck I would travel 50 minutes to visit. It is definitely worth the money and the drive!
