I had chili chicken, chicken korma, and biryani yesterday, and I was really disappointed. The chili chicken was tough, and my family only took one bite of the biryani before they said they didn't want any more. I honestly don't understand how anyone could give this place a good rating! I’ve lived in the area for 13 years and have tried all the Indian restaurants around here, and in my opinion, Amma’s restaurant is the best. It's a shame that another great spot, Monsoon, is closed now. So if you’re looking for Indian food, I recommend you skip this restaurant. It was a letdown! Thanks for reading!
UPDATE: The manager, Sakthi, reached out to apologize for the one-time service issue, and I have received a full refund. However, I am still very disappointed with my experience. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan to go, and the chicken pieces in the curry were completely undercooked—basically half-cooked cubes of chicken in tikka sauce. It's simply unfair to charge around $17 for a dish and not ensure the meat is thoroughly cooked. This isn't just about taste; food should at least be safe to eat. I called the restaurant to inform them about the issue.
We visited for a summer vacation and a friends reunion, and we ordered food that was both delicious and authentic. The next day, we decided to have lunch at Tiffin, and everything—food and service—was a perfect 10/10! If we visit New Jersey again, we would definitely love to dine there in the future. The food was finger-licking good and freshly made. Thank you for everything; I wish I could rate you 100/10! Lastly, thank you so much for the complimentary food.
This restaurant is truly a hidden treasure! As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the charming atmosphere and the exceptional service. The food was simply incredible! We’ve ordered Paneer Butter Masala and Chicken tikka Masala the quantity was less and both of them had sweet gravy in it .I’ve asked for Medium spice still it was too much sweet. North Indian people would like the restaurant because of the spice level this people have.
This was my first experience ordering from Tiffin, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. My coworker and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal! It was hot, delicious, and fresh. The delivery arrived right on time. We'll be ordering from here frequently. Food: 5/5
On the brighter side, the main course was an improvement; we ordered Chettinad curry, Kaju Matar Paneer, and garlic naan, which were better. However, overall, I found the prices to be high for the quantity and quality of the food offered.
My family enjoyed all the dishes from appetizers to the main dishes. Spice level was followed accordingly.. Dish portions are great also. Definitely will be returning
