Tiga is an exceptional restaurant! I'm not even sure how I came across this place but we decided to stop by one random night and absolutely fell in LOVE! Their sushi is really good meat. Every time we go there we leave with a smile on our faces because of what we just ate. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time. When youre there, dont be shy to ask the waiters for their recommendations. We had a waiter that asked us what we like/dislike and based on our answers, she was able to make really great recommendations. For added fun, elect to sit by the sushi bar! Its a nice vibe getting to see the chefs at work. If you see something you like, you can ask them what it is and...

I came on a Friday at the insistance of a friend. I tried the edamame dumplings, soft shell crab salad, the sushi platter a toro roll and their Yuzu cocktail. Each dish had a very familiar yet surprising taste. It definitely is not your traditional sushi but a fresh and new innovative take on the cuisine. The pairings of sauces and flavors are on point. Each individual bite has so many levels of flavor that it is indescribable. There's also a very good attention to service. Our waitress, Jennifer, was attentive and took her time to explain each and every dish so that even a sushi novice would feel at ease. I can't wait to go back.

We received a gift certificate here and made a reservation on a Friday night. We love sushi and sashimi and this place was disappointing. The sushi is very basic tuna and salmon and every roll was very sauce heavy. Although they are innovative on the combination of ingredients, we feel like they rely on the sauces. This is not the place if you actually enjoy your traditional sushi and sashimi . It's very small and expensive and the whole thing feels forced and pretentious. If you like authentic no frill sushi you are better off next block over at Yamaguchi. We will continue to go there for authentic sushi and service.

Haven't eaten in the restaurant yet but have gotten takeout. You can tell the sushi is very fresh, but it's a little pricey depending on what sushi you get. The interior of the restaurant is VERY small and cozy and located in downtown Port Washington. I ordered 2 scallop sushi and 2 tuna sushi and the phish sandwich. The total was $43, which was a little pricey for pickup. Also, there is no parking except for street. It's hard to get a reservation here because it's so small, but it's definitely worth it! The sushi were out of this world, but I would order a different roll next time. Excited to try it again! Book a table now

We had an excellent dining experience! This was our first visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. We really enjoyed the salmon carpaccio, the rolls, and the seared Scottish salmon sushi! Next time, we plan to try the waiter's recommendations for the seared red snapper and mackerel (they can sear just about anything you’d like). However, I wasn’t particularly fond of the crispy rice with spicy tuna. I’ve had that dish often, but here the rice was too dense and crunchy for my taste.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I absolutely loved everything we tried. It made for a wonderful date night, complete with excellent service. The fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to return and enjoy another meal there!

Tiga has phenomenal specialty rolls. Most are unique and made specifically at Tiga. My personal favorite is the Piece of Heart. The mix of flavors, meat, and toppings are ordinary and out of this world. Order the truffle fries! Nice atmosphere and servers!!Food: 5/5
