I put this down to pure greed sadly. We booked a table last night for two. We arrived, and were promptly put on a small round bistro sized table for two. Before we were seated, I informed the head waiter that we were going to...order a set meal for two and that we would probably require a larger table. Now I know this, because last month we were moved to a larger table by them, because the number of dishes were not going to fit on the small table comfortably. We have been to the Broadstone branch of Tien on a number of occasions, including the weekend just gone. The only problem with this restaurant is........ We can only give FIVE stars Between five of us we had a variety of dishes, with various...suaces. ALL the dishes were fantastic. Delicious. Extremely well presented. Very very tasty. If I had anything detrimental to say about the venue, they are sometimes a little too keen to clear plates, as we had only just for finished when the waiter wanted to whisk away the dishes. With all those lovely sauces still on the plates who could resist just wiping a finger round to savour the final flavour. No, five stars is just not enough. We WILL be back...
Really wanted to award 3.5 points and call it good rather than average. Busy Saturday night. Staff coped well with the numbers and were cheery, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, all floor staff hope your management appreciates you! Food was...lovely and portions were generous. However, food wasn’t very hot to begin with and because all dishes are delivered to the table at once when choosing a set menu, only gets colder. It would be lovely to have a food warmer on the table as used by many Indian restaurants to keep dishes warm. Probably a bit too large and noisy for a repeat visit by myself and friends but definitely value for money.

excellent meal, service and atmosphere all at a very reasonable price. we had the excellent gang starter for two followed by the duck also be shared. completely filled no room for any desserts. wein seemed a tad overpriced so hard on beer and fruit... Holiday location was perfect just 5 minutes to walk from our hotel and next to the marriott clifftop hotel
Beautifully cooked food, swiftly delivered, nice place too. Attentive staff. Only one observation, the wine list has crazy expensive prices, and in a full restaurant, only one table I could see had wine. realistic pricing would sell loads more wine, and the customers would...be even more happy. Still a nice place and I shall be back again.
We went here while staying in Bournemouth, the food was lovely and the service was really good, they were extremely busy but we were well looked after. The choice on the menu was great and we had a lovely meal and evening. Would definitely recommend.
