This is an excellent bar and grill. With pinball, slot machines, pool tables, and darts, the decor and atmosphere truly capture the essence of a classic bar. The food is quite good, and for bar and grill fare, it’s really impressive. We received great service, and our meals arrived fairly quickly. On top of that, I had bottled root beer, which may not be a major detail, but it added a nice touch and I appreciated enjoying a colder drink that way.
I came in for lunch when the restaurant was nearly empty, with only about five other customers. A staff member at the bar saw us but didn’t approach to take our drink order. Even after several attempts to make eye contact, she didn’t prioritize helping us. The service was disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to return.
Time Out Sports Grill is a lively place to grab a drink, enjoy lunch, and perhaps play some darts. That said, the bathrooms are by far the worst in Troy—truly appalling beyond description. On a positive note, the bartenders are welcoming and the food is better than expected.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious once it finally arrives. I highly recommend trying the Philly cheese steak. However, getting service at the bar for food can be quite challenging. Book a table now
I went out for dinner with my wife and we sat at the bar for 10 minutes. The bartender made eye contact with us multiple times but never took our order. It's unlikely that we'll return.
