The food was excellent at this restaurant. The haggis was delicious, and the burger was made with good quality meat and cooked perfectly. The service was quiet when ordering food, and it took about 40 minutes to receive our meal.

We only stopped in for a drink, but the place quickly filled up after a show at the Usher Hall let out. The bar staff seemed overwhelmed and struggled to keep up with the sudden influx of customers.
The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is very friendly, however, the food service is quite lacking. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our platter of food.
Very poor service booked table for 6pm ordered drink and food at bar waited an hour and 20 mins for our food had show to attend at Usher Hall so had... Book a table now
We waited for 40 mins for our food then went to see where it was then 25 min later waitress brought steak pie I ordered steak no steak and ale pie ...
Went in with my other half for a light lunch, open sandwich was fantastic, service was great, will be in next time I’m in Edinburgh
