The food in itself is fine but the way they bring it out is ridiculous. We sat down my husband, son, and myself and ordered our drinks, appetizers, and food all at the same time. First out drinks came out, then One appetizer. Than my husbands meal. Two minutes later my husbands appetizer came out. 7 minutes later my sons came out. Another 5 minutes later my food came out. (This whole time my husband is waiting for us to eat). We found Toba in Middletown, DE, after struggling to find good restaurants in the area. As a chef myself, I highly recommend their menu. Everything I've tried, from the eel avocado rolls to their specialty rolls and the Hibachi Chicken dish, has been incredible. I highly recommend Toba to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
Food was great. Menu was great and it was easy to get a table. Server was very friendly and it was reasonably priced. Unfortunately they were super busy and I know it's hard to staff but they definitely needed more people or maybe should have capped the numbers. It's so hard though these days but I will keep going and am a regular.

Our waitress was very nice and the service was very good. The Sushi selection in the Menu had a very good variety of different sushi to choose from. I would highly recommend this Japanese restaurant to ALL sushi and sashimi lovers!Parking: The parking lot was next to the restaurant.

Tone was surly from the get go and food was not impressive. I can get better sushi and sashimi from wegmans for half the price.I’ll add that I’m extremely polite toward people handling my food, but these ones are just weird. Never again.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, but the prices are too high. I do enjoy their happy hour specials, but the overall experience is not as good as it was before Covid when they had drive-in options.
