Avery mixed evening which our waitress did her best to salvage.First you lost our booking ,we were told to wait for ten minutes which turned into eternity, at least an hour. It was a birthday and they were not prepared.Food was very mixed,starters very greasy,main course cauliflower cheese inedible,we returned it.But our waitress did her best and we thanked her.
We visit Eden Park about once a month. The meter greeter is always friendly and the food is great value. However we do get irritated by the Carvery chefs who give the impression that they really don’t want to be there and dive back into the kitchen at every opportunity therefore having no idea if people are waiting to be served.
Good value carvery and generous sized puds. Staff produced a candle in an ice cream sundae for one of my party celebrating a birthday, much appreciated. Small niggle on this occasion: some of the veg were not as hot as we might have liked (but we still managed to eat everything! .
