Turned up for buffet breakfast, parking was awful. The carpark was FULL of BT van's making it hard to even get round the carpark to look for a spot (At least 12 van's) . It didnt even look like there were any engineers in the carvery, so maybe this is the general parking for them, but how annoying for your regular customers. So once we parked across the road, and walked bk over, we went straight to the bar and ordered, no queue which we were surprised at seeing as the carpark was so full. Had a lovely Saturday lunchtime roast. Myself my husband visited. He had a king, I had a regular buffet and a refillable drink each. It cost us just over £40 including a tip. Turkey, beef, lamb, gammon all on offer. Vegetarian options: They have a cheaper option for vegetarians on the buffet and you can go up and help yourself to as much veg as you like. Also have set meals on the menu which mention if they're suitable for vegetarians or not. Parking: Free small parking but this is off a larger car park for other shops which is also free. So if it's full you can still park for free
We were warmly welcomed by all staff members during our visit today. We enjoyed delicious meals of beef, pork, and vegetables. The kitchen staff and carver deserve credit for their fantastic dishes. Special thanks to waitress Clare M for always taking care of us so well. We always make sure to reserve one of her tables in advance. We can't wait to visit again, hopefully twice, this week.
