We had a late lunch on Saturday with my son, who is from Carleton. After hearing positive feedback from friends, we decided to try out Tokyo Grill. Our group of four all agreed on a solid five-star rating. Don't let the restaurant's location on the main street fool you; it's truly a fantastic dining spot. We started with perfectly salted edamame and a spicy dipping sauce. Most of us chose the Bento boxes, which provided a generous serving of delicious food. The sushi was excellent too, along with a variety of other options on the menu. The service was exceptional. Honestly, this has become my top pick for lunch!
Our family adores Tokyo Grill and the wonderful family that runs it. The menu offers a wide variety of options to cater to different taste preferences. The staff is consistently friendly and provides excellent service. If you're fortunate enough to meet Joyce, you'll understand why we keep coming back. This restaurant is highly recommended for lunch and dinner, whether you choose to dine in or take out.
The service at this restaurant is outstanding; the manager always remembers our children and makes a point to greet us. The Hibachi food is consistently delicious, and I particularly enjoy the ginger salad. Although the sushi isn't the best I've ever tasted, it's still quite good for Northfield.
We had a fantastic first experience at Tokyo Grill. We decided to share four rolls between the two of us, and each one was delicious and reasonably priced. The servers were friendly, and we were pleasantly surprised by how short the wait time was, especially for that time of night.

Great service. Good portions and prices. And the food was very good. I just ate here again after their new remodel. Wow they did such a nice job. You can see from my 2 photos that they upped the presentation with the same great cuts of meat.
The food here is outstanding! However, the spicy rolls didn’t have as much heat as I anticipated. That might be due to my Southern background. Nevertheless, this is undoubtedly the top restaurant in town!
The restaurant has been beautifully remodeled in the last few years, and it rivals much pricier sushi options found in the Twin Cities. I’ve never been disappointed!
Fantastic fish and staff! One of my favorite sushi spots in Minnesota with out a doubt! If you love sashimi the Sake and Hamichi on point just about year round.
