I normally pick up from Ichiban (closer to me than any other sushi place and also really delicious , but I was starving and unable to leave the house so I gambled Tokyo Sushi did a great job with the three rolls I ordered (Pink Lady, Eel Avocado, and Oshinko all were exactly as I ordered and provided in generous portions (great for sharing which my kid, who previously didn 't want any enjoyed immensely . They also added (on the house!!!! a small portion of a deep fried roll that was very different than what I had ordered but very tasty I believe it was krab stick in the center wrapped in nori with rice outside, deep fried and touched with a little spicy mayo and maybe sweet soy (or a similar...
I have only ordered take-out food from this restaurant once. Unfortunately, all the sushi rolls I ordered were dry, possibly due to an excess of rice. I had to stop eating before finishing because of the dryness. Although I requested no wasabi, there was still a large amount on the tray, which was off-putting as I dislike it. However, I did appreciate the complimentary roll they included. It's nice when restaurants add small touches like that. Overall, it may have just been an off day for them, but we will likely stick to restaurants closer to home in the future. The service for take-out was rated a 5, while the food was rated a 2. The price per person for dinner ranged from $30 to $50.
awesome food! fish was fresh and everything I ordered looked just as amazing as it all tasted... Tokyo Sushi was also very kind and sent out a delicious fried crabroll with spicy mayo and eel sauce with a cute little smiley face and a note that said on the house ! I will definitely be ordering from here again, and I highly recommend to anyone who loves sushi!
The staff is extremely welcoming and attentive, always recognizing and accommodating the customers. They even offer complimentary appetizers to ensure a satisfying dining experience without having to order a large quantity of food. The cuisine consistently exceeds expectations...
