Food is pretty good but the service not so much. Every time we go there it takes forever for someone to take our order. Actually left once because no one ever took our order. Last night was the absolute worst. Someone that worked there sat us in the back room with the pool table. Mind you there is an open window so everyone can see us sitting there, to be honest I actually felt put on the spot. The person that sat us told the bartender he was seating us there because there were no seats at the bar. The bartender takes our drink order and I ask her for menus. She gives us the menus and we never see her again. About 20 minutes later we have to ask someone to take our order, she has a complete...
I went to this restaurant for some food and drinks. I sat at the bar and it took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge me, even though it wasn't very busy. Eventually, I was able to order some beers and then went outside. We ordered a sampler platter with wings, mozzarella sticks, and potato skins. The wings were average but tasty. We also both had cheesesteaks, which were really good and came on a good roll. I wish the kitchen was open later, especially in the summer when it doesn't get dark until later. Overall, it's a nice little bar with a lively atmosphere where you can smoke on the patio and enjoy some food and drinks.
The portions are generous, they accept cash only, and the beer is inexpensive. The food surpasses expectations for a small dive. I have high hopes for places like this, and Fischer's exceeds them. They have a jukebox and a pool table, as well as the option to order beer and food to go. Tom Fischer's is my favorite spot in Westmont.
Embarrassing to see the owner there drinking at the bar like she’s a regular everyday. Super, super, super embarrassing place. Nice for a quick drink after work if you catch the right bartender, but the owner is rude and not to mention smells like rotten eggs and moth balls.

Waitress refused to serve us because we looked sketchy . Instead of doing the logical thing and scanning our legal IDs, she threatened to take them, which would have resulted in the police being called on the bar.
I always love stopping at Fischer's when I'm in the area. The bar is lively, there's music, delicious drinks and food, and the service is friendly.
Far better food than you would expect. Buffalo Chicken Dip is the best around. Pizza burger is amazing. Love the staff. Good beer selection too.
I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the overall vibe of this restaurant, but I can't stand the unhappy bartender behind the bar.

Thought was a good bar felt like home. But Suzie is rude, and she isn't a very nice bartender. It's best to go somewhere else.
