Oh my goodness...I typically only eat gluten-free pizza or cauliflower crust pizza. I live in Queens but happened to be in Long Island today, where I stumbled upon this restaurant. I am always on the lookout for a good cauliflower crust pizza, as many can be bland or taste like cardboard. As someone who has to eat gluten-free, it can be a struggle to find a delicious option. If you think all pizza dough is the same...you haven't had pizza at Tomato Basil. I am a dough guy when it comes to pizza not to say that sauce and toppings aren't very important also but for me it starts with the dough. I prefer a deep dish [NYstyle] crispy on the bottom, doughy and has weight to it that's what you get here. Toppings are very flavor full on all pie's my favorites are chicken marsala and mushroom slices with a close second being the eggplant regular slice. I have been allover the place tasting pizza and I keep coming back to Tomato Basil. Staff is friendly too. Highly recommend!

I normally never leave reviews for businesses. This time I have to. I am sorry to say that this is by far the worst food I have ever had. The pizza pie was beyond being edible. Seemed like it was a pie that had been made days before and the toppings were just thrown on, the bottem was literally black. Mozzarella sticks frozen garbage. Minestrone soup was like mud. Sicilian slices that I ordered were absolutely disgusting. Such a shame. I saw the good reviews and figured I'd try this place. Total mistake. I wish the business all the best and hope they make some major changes!!!!

I have always been a fan of the regular slice at this restaurant, but recently I decided to try their deep dish pizza with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and balsamic glaze. I loved it so much that I now crave it all the time! I recently had a work party and decided to order the Sicilian version of the pizza as well as the Buffalo chicken pizza. All of my coworkers were asking me where I ordered from because they loved the pizzas so much. I'm sure the restaurant will have many new customers soon! Frank and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming.
This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy delicious pizza at a reasonable price. The customer service is exceptional and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to grab a quick bite or enjoy a meal with friends.
