Just popped in to order some sweet n sour chicken. Nightmare! Chaos in the little reception area! The new front of house guy is 'awful ' rude n sounds like he is stupid to me seems to have no sense of anything. He was so rude as well. Bad move to g thai! Ur little lady who used to take the orders was so much more efficient. The food i got was disgusting! I dont know 'what ' kind of chicken that was but if it was chicken it must have been stale for over a year, the juice was just water and the vegetables were over cooked n mushy, im telling you, it was like, what the hell is this.cimplete waste of £7.50! Please dont bother! Awful! Just awful
The food was very nice as it had been the two times I’d been there before but honestly, there was a large group in the restaurant and we felt rushed to order ‘before them’ and then we felt rushed to eat and leave as more people were queuing for a table. We were with some friends and it just wasn’t a nice feeling… the man we paid our bill to didn’t even say good bye when we left the place, as we walked straight by him. I’m not sure I’ll go back there now. Dining is supposed to be a relaxing , enjoyable experience. I know they’re really popular, because of their good, but it’s still no excuse to treat customers like that,
The food was of decent quality at this restaurant. However, we were disappointed to find that our order was missing the prawn crackers. When we called to inform them about the mistake, we were simply told that we could come back to pick them up with no apology. Upon returning to get the prawn crackers, we received no apology again, only a nonchalant "oh here you go". The customer service at this restaurant is shockingly poor and rude.
I went with a friend for a Christmas get-together, and it had been years since my last visit, but I was not disappointed. The restaurant was busy, but the service was very attentive despite having a large booking. The food was amazing - fresh and piping hot. We had spring rolls for starters, followed by yellow curry with chicken, veggie pad thai, and coconut rice. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Book a table now
This place is a real gem. We’ve often had fantastic takeaways from them, but this was the first time we’d eaten in for a while. It made us wonder why we don’t do it more often. The veggie options are fantastic – seriously, some of the best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. The Coconut Rice has to be tasted to be believed. The service is brilliant too – speedy, cheerful and helpful. Highly recommended.
Found this restaurant by chance over 100 miles from home by the A14. Thai is always my go to cruising and this has to have been one of the. Wry best meals I have had in the UK!!! Just a shame it is so far away, busy too on a Wednesday night with lots of regulars.
Had an outstanding meal last night at Tong Thai, great service, Kanitta and her team were amazing as always, food incredible, hot, plenty of it and very tasty. Love it here, would recommend to anyone, best restaurant in Kettering! Thank you x

Usually really nice food but our latest take away was missing a course. There was also a lot of eggshell in the phadthai. Not the best experience which is a shame.
