a joy in the wild of north hollywood. I don't care whether they are in the tiki aesthetics or not, this bar has some of the best cocktails they find round. only when there is a front facade at the bar, it is only one exit and should be entered via the parking space behind the strip mall. in recent times, their parking spaces were taken over by a built terrace room to better accommodate the parasols through the pandemic; even though there are still limited seats in doors with vaccination proof. regardless of where they sit, they enjoy a beautifully decorated room (which is more visible outside than in, with the low lighting they have inside) which they transported outside of noho and into a k...
Drinks are good...place is very tiki bar. Lots of history and the staff is friendly and helpful. They do not serve food, but have a taco stand in back. Food was good, but took 50 minutes to get two tacos. Just know it will be a long wait for food if you go on a weekend.
such a wonderful historical tiki bar! marie king takes care of this place with a vigilant eye and careful execution on cocktails. we had an explosion!
