Lovely, old-style hotel with really good food. I would have been impressed with the daube of beef if I’d paid twice as much for it in a country house hotel. Yes, the rooms look a little dated, but they are comfortable, clean and the bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. And the service was friendly and fuss-free
Stayed overnight for work on a very off season Thursday night. Room a little tired the bed and bathroom were new, but the rest of the furniture not. A touch chilly on arrival. Clean and tidy and generally in good shape aside from the old furnishing.
Stunning hotel and very very helpful staff, I was late in last night I phoned in to ask if they would keep me food incase I never made the deadline.... Really appreciated the help I was given with a smile would stay here again 10 out of 10
Great service and friendly staff who did their very best to fit us in for a funeral tea at short notice. Also accommodating my family from U.S.A although they were very busy. We had a great meal on last night .Thank you once again x Book a table now
The rooms are a bit small and the shower over bath not the best. The bed is a hard mattress. The breakfast is plentiful. The staff are really friendly and make you very welcome. The hotel is very clean and well organised
Quick and efficient check-in. Small beju room. Clean and nicely decorated. Had a television (keeps losing signal) iron and board. Restaurant decorated in regency type. Food is excellent, well proportions served.
Recently celebrated my birthday at The food and service was fab…staff very attentive and friendly! A truly great venue and would definitely recommend. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again!!
