Just gave this place another chance since it's his favorite. Last time I visited I tried the Tony's pasta and was neutral on it. This time I got the chicken Alexander and it was DELICIOUS. The side of Cajun veggies was also phenomenal, I wish it came with more. I also had a side of Alfredo but it was disappointing. It was cold and just tasted like it came from a jar. But the chicken saved the day! The boyfriend, per usual, loved his Tony's pasta though and it came out hot! Plus you can never go wrong sitting on the balcony and overlooking main. We were in the St. Charles downtown historic district for the first time and wanted somewhere special to have dinner. Our choice was Tony’s on Main. It was excellent! Apparently, it’s a popular spot, as the place was packed with people talking, laughing, and having a good time. Liked the exposed brick décor, but especially loved the canoe hanging from the ceiling, which was unexpected and fun. There are many items on their menu, but I decided to try the Steak Modiga. It’s two tenderloin medallions that are lightly breaded and smothered with cheese, white wine lemon sauce, and mushrooms. Delicious! And our server was terrific, too.
Quite expensive but for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary it is worth the . The petite filet melts in your mouth, the potato is loaded (a meal in itself) and the asparagus roasted to perfection. The service was adequate, but our server could have been a bit more personable. Perhaps he was just having a bad day. Anyway 4/5 stars.

PROS: Great food and staff. CONS: No king crab legs even though their online and physical menus said they did. Also, their garlic mashed potatoes were not available until four even though the place opened at three.? TIPS: Make a reservation and get there on time.
great experience. the atmosphere is excellent, personal is on their game. jason, the barkeeper was very respectful and courteous and above all, fast with service. the food was delicious and price for its quality. in any case recommend.
