After extensive research looking for the best Tom Yum, I found Toomie 's. Upon entering we were greeted with eye smiles and kind energy. The aroma and ambience was exactly what I needed. I was sat next to a space heater which not only warmed my legs but also my soul. Win for win so far. The soup arrived hot. We ordered pad khing with chicken and flaming beef (sizzling on a cast iron). Delicious. The Thai ice tea paired well as did the best lemon drop ever. Truly thee best! Everything was above and beyond! When I inquired about Thai chili they brought me cutest silver set of chili. Appeasing the eyes and on point for the pallet. Turns out I like chili in fish sauce the best. Straight fire. Yo...

A cut above your ordinary Thai spot, Toomie's offer's some seafood specialty you won't find at a lot of Thai restaurants. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp And Scallop. really tender and tasty, and the Pork Pra-Ram (Pork in peanut sauce and sautéed spinach) which thankfully was not too sweet, since many other restaurants make this dish far too sweet for someone who likes real Thai food. They put a new (To Me) spin on the Traditional fried Banana and ice cream, but deep frying the banana into a imperial roll casing. Making it crispy and perfectly chewy. Great spot in Alameda!
Toomie's Thai Cuisine offers delicious, authentic Thai dishes with exceptional quality. We always order the Fried Noodles (Pad See Ew) and Pumpkin Curry, and they never disappoint. Whenever we try something new, it’s just as good. The ingredients and spices are fresh and thoughtfully combined, creating perfectly balanced flavors.
At Toomie's Thai Cuisine, the Pastry Curry Puff lacked flavor, seasoning, and any noticeable curry, making it disappointing and overpriced for its size. The Fried Noodles (Pad See Ew) were dry but offered better taste compared to the curry puff. Overall, the menu had some letdowns in terms of flavor. Book a table now
Delicious. Kinda pricey but worth it. Panang curry was excellent. Tom Kha (Coconut Milk Soup) was excellent. Eggplant dish was excellent. Flavors were on point, they nailed the spice levels that we requested. Try it. Thai food done right. Highly recommended.
This restaurant lies about how long it takes them to prepare an order and they claim that an order is ready for pick up and it took an additional 30 minutes to pick it up and it called me to get a contract violation for my delivery service
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for snacks! The food and service both receive 5 stars across the board. The roti with dipping sauce is excellent, as are the eggrolls, Thai tea, and the amazing mango sticky rice.
The Daikon Soup at this restaurant is a pleasant surprise - delicious with a hint of cilantro and a rich flavor. It's not overwhelming with glass noodles, so if you want extra, just ask for it. Book a table now
The Coconut Milk Soup was overly salty, and the chicken was overcooked and tough. However, the Basil Stir-Fry was excellent! The vegetables were crisp but perfectly cooked.
Rude, unfriendly, disrespectful and SLOW there are lots of well run restaurants in Alameda unfortunately Toomies is not one of them.
