It's fastfood BBQ. It was okay, but there's way better. This place is basically like McDonald's quality burgers, but BBQ instead. If you're looking for good, go someplace else. If you want fast and relatively cheap, consider this place. You have to judge it for what it is like any fastfood chain.Portions were small and unsatisfying. The pulled pork was okay, not great. The beans were on the low side I've had better from a can. The slaw and fries were not terrible but not good either.Compared to a real BBQ place the food quality is significantly lower, but the prices are too so that's what you get.
Worst ribs and brisket I?ve ever tried to eat. I give this two stars only because the the pulled pork was literally edible. But the taste was not good. But it was actually edible. The brisket and ribs you couldn?t eat it it was so burnt up and sopoorly cooked my husband and I couldn?t even eat it. Waste of money. The sauce isn?t a good flavor. I will never be back. Iwill say, my brother in law does say the burgers here are good but I?ll never find out. Sorry Tops.
The food was cold and did not taste good. We were dining in and served in to go dishes. The BBQ nachos were cold and tasted terrible. The fireman burger was cold and a sloppy mess. The regular BBQ sandwich was just ok, but why eat ok BBQ in a BBQ city. The people working there were friendly and the restaurant was clean, but at the bare minimum when dining in serve the food hot or even warm on dine in trays not cold and to go. I threw my food away, it wasn’t good.
We had a delicious meal tonight. We arrived at a very busy time of the evening so it took a little extra time to get some of our food but the staff was apologetic and came back to make sure that we had everything. The fresh, hot fries were worth the wait!There was a lady there who was visibly upset that her takeout order wasn?t ready fast enough to suit her. We watched the staffhandle her with kindness and patience and in a very professional manner. Great job!

Tops has had its ups and downs over the years, and I haven't heard the best reviews about this particular location. However, when I met a friend for lunch, I found the ordering process to be simple, and the food arrived quickly and was quite good. As with many establishments, the quality often hinges on the management, and in this case, the manager was exceptional and played a key role in the restaurant's success.
I had an amazing experience at the restaurant! The team was incredibly welcoming, and the food was fabulous. I always order the pork sandwich, and I will definitely keep coming back for it. Go Tops Barbecue!
I had a wonderful experience with my turkey burger meal and banana pudding for dessert, and my husband really enjoyed his pork sandwich. We'll definitely be returning!
Service was great, the employees were really friendly especially Mary. Burger was juicy, fries were crisp and the banana pudding was awesome. Kool-aid was nostalgic.

This is what you call Memphis BBQ friendly staff awesome ribs and brisket. Ill definitely be coming back.
Tops isn't what it once was. Buns are different. Meat is different. It's a real shame.
