This restaurant was so good that it made me regret how cavalier I have been with five star ratings in the past because this one is a TRUE five star. Absolutely as good as it gets. My friend and I were on Mallorca for 36 hours and wanted to see the very best of it. Toque was listed as one of the best restaurants in Palma, so we looked at the menu and decided to check it out. We got there when it opened at 7:00pm, which is a little early for dinner for the Europeans, but just about perfect for us Americans, so we didn't have to wait at all. Rated as one of the best restaurants in Palma, this restaurant did not disappoint. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The Belgian owner personally takes all orders and also gave us a wine recommendation which was outstanding based on our taste and surprisingly inexpensive. For our appetizers, we had the crunchy goat cheese salad with pears in red wine and also had the cuttlefish on majorcan style tart. For our main course, we had the Rabbit, loin and brick of shoulder with black beer and plumps and the seafood special of the day, sea bass which was amazing. Wauw, this is an exceptional place, incredible food, beautiful crafted dishes, the oxtail is the best. So is the duck, the cuttlefish and everything else. On. Top of that, the restaurant has an excellent belgian beer selection, which the waiter matches with my starter and main dish perfectly. Highly recommended !
Try the Mallorcan wine. They have a decent selection and all the ones we tried were very nice. Food was excellent and fish was not overcooked. Service was perfect. Be adventurous on the menu. You won't be disappointed. They were full so make reservations. Email is how we did it.
