In Magdeburg ist der Freund gehobener Küche am Sonntag noch verlorener als anderswo. Einzig der Hoflieferant hält die Fahne saisonaler Frischeküche hoch. Außer natürlich, wenn am folgenden Montag Brückentag ist. Da lohnt sich die Öffnung nicht. Und auch nicht ein Hinweis auf der Homepage, so dass ich etwas ratlos über Alternativen nachdachte, denn immerhin war es für meinen Magen schon 20.00 Uhr auch wenn der Zeitmesser seit dem frühen Morgen etwas anderes vermeldete. Dann also mal in einen italienischen Steakladen am Schleinufer, vom dem ich schon Schlechtes gehört hatte. Indes: In der Not... We like to eat in Magdeburg. Last Saturday night we were here for dinner with friends. It took some time before the waiter asked us about our drinks wishes and the men immediately shocked there were no bright Pils. On a Saturday at 19:30!! We 3 girls wanted red wine and therefore thought of a bottle, comment the waiters No bottle of carafe! 1 l. So good (can not imagine that there are no bottle wines. It was only too perplex to ask again). The drinks came, the red wine in a jug that would be better suited for juice than for wine, and the waiter planned the table with red wine while pouring in. As part of a delegation of technical trainers from countries around the World for Mercedes Benz we descended upon this restaurant all at once. I was expecting long delays and issues with orders. How wrong could I be. The service was impeccable. Drinks...were ordered and presented in good time and the food orders were all correct. The staff were very attentive and worked tirelessly to make our visit a memorable one. I had steak, as you would in a steak house but my vegetarian colleagues were also catered for with what I believe was a beautiful pan fried salmon. If I ever get to Magdeburg again, I’ll see you again.
We enjoyed very much the Black Angus Entrecote Hufsteak, the rumpsteak and lam-chops. The meat quality and cooking was very good. Service was also very god, friendly and efficient. Strong recomendation.

Nice riverside location. Food is not outstanding and overpriced for what you get. Service was not great, asked for the biĺl and had to go up and pay in the end.
