Fantastic food! They have just changed their menu so that the day I write this review does not exactly reflect what they have. We went on a Saturday night and didn't need a reservation. This is not the place for traditional Mexican dishes. Rather, the food takes Mexican classics and sets a fresh and modern turn on them. My friend and I made a tapas-style dinner. We had the taste of the day empanadas, pork belly quesadilla, and nachos with Jack fruit. Everything tasted amazing. I especially loved the pig bell Queen as it was juicy and tasteful. The empanada taste was goat cheese and vegetables, and came with an amazing fruity sauce. The three dishes were enough to fill us and bring them home....
There was a party of 9 on our table. The staff accused us by giving us time to chat before we ask if we were willing to order. The service and the food were very good and if none of us, who ordered a certain dessert, liked it, the manager has deducted it from our bill. Even when she approached the closing time, they did not rush us out of the door. We all enjoyed and the food.
My mom and I attended the Mayfair festival yesterday and ended up grabbing lunch here. It was so delicious, by far the best guacamole I’ve ever had anywhere! And that’s saying a lot since I’ve traveled all over the country and Mexican food is usually my go to. Prices are reasonable, all the staff was extremely nice as well. Will definitely be back here again!
The place was very nice, the people who work here are very friendly and the food is very good. The only thing is because the place is small, you need to call for reservations. While this is not a big deal with other places today, you need to call here forward because they are quickly booked.
