My family has been dining here for years, and we've always enjoyed great food and excellent service. However, during our last three visits, we've noticed a change. The dining experience was terrible. I ordered birria, but the meat was spoiled. The horchata tasted chalky and lacked flavor. My son and partner tried the asada and al pastor tacos, and they were not good either. We ended up leaving all the food on our plates because we were worried about getting sick. I mentioned this to the waitress, but she didn't seem to care. Also, be prepared to navigate around her while trying to eat. The place was very dirty, and it certainly deserves a serious evaluation.

This modest restaurant has great red and green chilaquiles. Restaurant is designed around function, not form. When we went it was busy and I now know why. Be prepared for lines of people waiting on fresh tortillas.... and yes, it was worth the wait. On the right morning you might stop in to find a trio singing traditional Mexican music for tips.
