I can't comment on food as I was there for the ale. However the menu did have plenty of choice at reasonable prices. What I did notice is the pub has had an extensive revamp. Inside it is bright and has a more welcoming feel to it. The range of ales is excellent and prices are also very good. Service is good and located directly opposite the railway station it is easy to find. Worth a visit
eating was really good, they think the cook has previous experience in a type of high-classe
Lovely staff, enjoyable atmosphere, had a great time watching the football!
