The sushi rice seems to be more machine-pressed than hand-made, resulting in fish that easily separates from the rice. Additionally, the fish pieces come in varying shapes. While the rolls are cheaper than those at other restaurants, they are also smaller and contain fewer ingredients, making them less appealing overall. The low prices reflect the quality, so I can't really call it good value. This is more of a place to grab sushi for the sake of filling up with rice rather than enjoying quality ingredients.
I visited this restaurant to grab a bento box for lunch. While the service was friendly, the food left much to be desired. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh, there was an excessive amount of sesame oil in the beef teriyaki, and the meal was served cold with rather small portions. I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m honestly disappointed with the quality given the price. I would have preferred to skip lunch altogether. And a fortune cookie? That definitely doesn’t feel authentic. What a letdown!
I ordered the three-scoop protein poke bowl and was quite disappointed. Although they followed the special instructions I provided in the delivery app, the meal would have tasted better if I had made it myself. The rice was unseasoned, lacking even a sprinkle of furikake. The fish did not taste fresh or of good quality, and the beansprouts were soggy, making everything else overly watery. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place, which is unfortunate because I really wanted to enjoy it.
Pretty misleading description on party tray maki: California rolls, Dynamite rolls, Large California Futomaki rolls... Check out pictures of what was in the tray. There was practically no fish in any rolls and all for $75... Maki with carrots?! It was almost embarrassing to serve this to our guests. Honestly wish I just went to T T because this was certainly not better.

This restaurant is fantastic! The owners are incredibly friendly and will gladly explain their specialties and the menu to you. We had the raw spicy salmon poke bowls, and they were honestly the best we've ever tasted! The bowls and bento boxes are generously portioned, filled with fresh vegetables, and everything is simply delicious. It's a must-visit!
The food was delicious, there was no wait time, the prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent. My bento box was ready right after I finished washing my hands. The atmosphere is cozy, making it perfect for dining alone. The staff was quick and friendly. I’ll definitely be returning!
Great food portions at really good prices here! Super filling and always well prepared.The service is A1 quality as the owner Tony will remember you and your owner everytime. Very few places with this kind of service and food in Edmonton. Always has me come back every week!
I ordered from Skip the Dishes, and overall, the food was great! The sushi was understandably cold, but our gyoza and wontons were a bit too chilly for my liking, even though they still tasted good. I would definitely order again!

We ordered assorted sushi tray.We are very disappointed in the rice used in sushi. It is very dense and is not well seasoned. It was not prepared properly.The ingredients used are average.Sadly, we will not be ordering again.
