We stumbled on this restaurant our first night in Aix, wet from rain and weary from travel. It was such a fabulous find! The staff offered us inside or outside seating. Being damp and non-smokers, we went in. A beautiful area awaited us, the service was outstanding and the food was all we could have hoped for and more. I'm returning to Aix in September and will make this a dinner stop again. Prices were reasonable, service was outstanding, presentation was perfect and we loved every bite! Do not hesitate to go here!
I always eat some Italian wherever I go and Da Aldo was the place in Aix. I'm not sure if it was the setting or the fact that no one was there on this mid week evening (I even reserved) but it did not do it for me. I just had one plate that was more than adequate (I usually dine soup to nuts) and sadly left with a "Ho, Hmm" feeling. Maybe you will find better. They sure were nice enough.
What a marvel! The Da Aldo is the best Italian restaurant in the city! Same for grocery products that are all better than others. The pasta is fresh and delicious, the desserts also, you feel the homemade fact with love. Lived for two years now we are never disappointed! Thanks for your welcome to both of us, we are happy every time we come to eat at home!
We had a very enjoyable dinner in this Italian restaurant. It offers original Italian dishes (we had the raviolis stuffed with "figues" which were excellent) and a wide selection of Italian wines. It is advised to make a reservation since it is a very popular place. Prices are reasonable.

The Antipasti Mixte was a hit with our group of 5, here for a post-business meeting meal. All authentic and delicious ingredients, shipped in from Italy, as are the wines. I can recommend the Ravioli with sage butter - excellent.
Apotheosis! The best Italian I have made of my life! And believe me, I spend an average of three months a year in italia! The place is superb, the service at the top of the top, and the kitchen....... Mama mia!
We come to Da Aldo for the quality of Italian cuisine, and we're never disappointed. Fast service, more than satisfactory quantities and intimate atmosphere. Always a good time.
Disappointed! We thought we could find the dishes on The Folk. Obviously the card changed. Seiche ink pasta is tasteless. The desserts are not exceptional.
