"Somehow the worm was in, and this year we did not like to introduce the kitchen in our house. So we decided to go early into various new guestros for us. So also here, in the restaurant and beer resort “Sturmflut” directly at the ferry terminal to Helgoland. The Storm Flood is another place of Cuxhaven gastronomic Jan Fitter, who also runs the lake terraces where we were very satisfied on Valentine's Day. The lake terraces are in sight, so we could expect top gastronomy again. Restaurant The reservation was also made online in this place, the confirmation by email was in the mailbox the next morning. So we went to the ferry port in the evening. If not a stormy flood, get the mobile base in the parking lot of the ferry terminal, a few parking spaces are also located right in front of the restaurant. With storm flood or flooding it is difficult to reach the place. When entering the building you feel like in a railway station hall, there are also tickets for the Helgoland ferry and the toilets of the restaurant "Sturmflut". The left hand is the entrance to the restaurant. Maritim modernly designed, you want to attract guests and shorten the possible waiting time for the ferry. Entrance to the restaurant We came to the restaurant and were greeted by a young team. The online booking was checked and then we were led by the lady responsible for us to our reserved place. The restaurant consists of the actual part of the building, where the large counter is also accommodated, a large conservatory adds to the restaurant. Both rooms were very well visited, kitchen and service had good to do. Here in the conservatory we sat at a large table, the softly padded chairs invite you to a longer stay. Despite the large glass surfaces was pleasantly warm, on the day you have a wonderful view from here directly into the ferry port and on the world shipping route. Winter garden The restaurant is modern, the lighting is a bit cumbersome, almost too dark. Probably even the gypsum column is too cumbersome, the one or the other spider had made himself comfortable on the Sim window and also occasionally coughed over the window board. The extensive menu, similar to the sea terraces, was given to us during sitting, but after that we were not taken into account for a quarter of an hour. Nevertheless, the place was well visited, but was not full, the tables, except those that were just served were skillfully ignored by all service personnel. There was also no shy handlift. After more than a quarter of an hour we were finally considered, we had finished our mission. We ordered as beverages: · 1x 0.2ér Goldberg Tonic Water for 2,90 € · 1x 0.4ér Pepsi Cola Zero for 4,80 € · 1x 0.5ér Pilsner for 4,90 € · 1x 0.2ér Weißburgunder dry storm weather for 6,50 € · 1x Aperol Maracuja Apparently drinks are a bit difficult. When they were at our table, I took them for the mandatory GG photo, I noticed in the thread that something shimmers on our table. There were actually the glass edges of our predecessors. After the mandatory GG photo we looked forward to the drinks first. I was glad to have my beloved Jever again, my wife had the same wine as in the lake terraces and was happy with him again. My beloved Jever daughter had ordered the Cola Zero. Until then, I didn't know the zero was zero carbonic acid. After the first sip of the more juicy, caffeine-containing drink, our great man left her face and after a sip I could give her only right. We left the Cola with a corresponding comment. It was exchanged for a cola with carbonic acid, not a word of apology. Also the hint on the dirty table overheard the good lady. But probably she didn't recognize it when it was a shameful light. Drink selection of cutlery is parat Three minutes after our drinks came our supplies. But what was that? Sure is not easy to use, but that our soups were partially boiled in their bowls to the edge, not only looked unsightly, even the cream on the salmon cream soup was no longer in their place. Mr. Fitter, please practice this with her staff. I had the obligatory fish soup again, here she blown the fish pot. Unlike the lake terraces where the fish soup was served in a closed ceramic pot, it came here in a large bowl. Congratulations here only the bread My wife wanted to try the Salmon cream soup harbour masters here today. Also here the soup was not exactly careful when serving, so that the soup spread almost to the upper edge of the large bowl. Salmon cream Soup Port Master with salmon cubes, smoked salmon and house bread For this salmon cream soup was really creamy. There was a dark yellow, almost served in the ochre hot soup. As she looked, she also tasted. The taste was quite different and did not remember a salmon soup. But it was delicious. This soup here was also made with many salmon cubes and smoked salmon, in addition also a cloth and a Klecks cream on the top. Again, the house bread was this dead slice of white bread. is not a clear soup, and you can see clearly the edge of Knapp 25 minutes later our main dishes came. Luckily there was nothing to swallow here. At least the plates were visually in order. My wife chose the fish plate “Small Storm Flood” today. The large fish plate was too much for her, but even the “small” had it in itself. Fish plate “Small Storm Flood” – roasted redfish fillet, salmon fillet, roasted potatoes and remoulade A large roasted redfish fillet and a salmon fillet that covered in size the redfish in nothing after half of the plate. Both fillets were crispy on the outside, both salmon and redfish were still very fresh and juicy inside. Both fish unfolded their own taste. Even with roast potatoes it was noticed that at least the kitchen had something on it. Self-made frying potatoes with bacon, onion and lynx, fried, slightly seasoned. And the best, not even fat. That's how we get roast potatoes. Also the Remoulade was good, although I was more of Convenience here. Fish plate “Small Storm Flood” – roasted redfish fillet, salmon fillet, roasted potatoes and Remoulade The Great had again taken up the Lachsburger. A large burger with 2 thick, juicy salmon fillets, fresh salad, cucumber and tomatoes was served. In the meantime roast onions and fresh, sharp onions. Lachsburger – Lachsfilet, Röstzwiebeln, rustikales Brötchen und Knobi-Dip mit Steakhouse-Pommes Top on the salmon fillet still a small stick of a dark remoulade. However, she would also have liked a stick of this revolt on the rustic bread, because that was quite dry. There was a large bag with steakhouse pots and a small bowl with strong nub dimmer. After all, much too much so she wanted to take it home. The corresponding polystyrene box was calculated at 0.70 €. When I'm at the lake, it's gonna have to be moppelcott, e.g. Seaman's lab. Immediately after the turn, I was allowed to try this really delicious dish in our partner firefighter in Ottersberg, not far from Bremen. Since then, it doesn't make me go right and when I'm in the north, I'm trying to eat it. So here again in Cuxhaven, and here in the storm flood I have to say that the kitchen has on it. Labskaus has a great tradition and is a North German, regional speciality and consists of pork breast, potatoes and red beet root, which is boiled and then finally gelled by the meat grinder or the like, is seasoned with salt and pepper and served with eggs, spice cucumbers and roller mops. Seemanns-Labskaus – pökelte Rinderbrust, Rote Bete, Spiegelei and Rollmops So here too, a large bunch of these Labskaus-Breies were crushed on the plate. Daughters looked disgusting, but this Labskaus here was sooooo something delicious. The egg taken from the pan with time, the egg yolk still nicely liquid. In addition, the acidic spice gurke and a great role mugs. I can only recommend it. Labskaus, as he must be after we were satisfied, and at least from the food we wanted a drink or a little dessert, but this time the service left us. Luckily it was similar to other guests. When our handmarks were no longer ignored, we no longer asked about the bill. Our conclusion: We left €10.50 in the restaurant and beer shop “Sturmflut” in Cuxhaven. The kitchen is similar to the sea terraces, but with cleanliness and service Mr. Fitter must definitely improve. That's how the stars that you would have earned with ease disappear. Too bad."

A super Italian in Cuxhaven. My tip: Book a table before, because the store is not so big and it is full of bits. Eating there is great and you feel like in a hig-class restaurant. The quality of food and services is not to be contested. Those who like to eat Italian will be happy here. From pizzen, pasta as well as fish and co there is a great choice here. Although you have to enjoy some higher prices, I have always been worth it. 4*

my absolute favorite restaurant!as a semi Italian I can only say very tasty and there are really local choices that tastes just as in italy or as it cooks my Italian mama;-D the portions are very large and for that are the prices in order!es is a very romatian and friendly ambiente and against children no one has something there is also a high chair for children there!

The host Nicoletta and the host and at the same time chef Gustavo are super nice and competent. There is a varied map, good wines and perfect service with excellent food! The best pizza Cuxhavens, fantastic Tiramisu, seafood and steaks etc.

My absulutes favorite Italian restore. Very nice and accommodating staff. Price performance ratio is completely acceptable. Cosy atmosphere. Just emphatic. Table resavierung do not forget because very small, but very laborious.
