Myself and my mother went for food here this week, (I took her there as it was her first time out since having a big operation and having to isolate etc) . The younger girl working was ok with us but the other older...ladies were disgusting! When we arrived we were asked if we had booked, I said no and the lady just pointed at a table for us to sit down. A guy came in after us, he was given a menu straight away where as we had to wait and the woman said “have u had menus” (well clearly not)! We were given menus and ordered food. other people were asked “can I get you anything else” throughout there visit, but myself and my mother were not asked once! I thought the woman was angry with me bco...
We were looking forward to having food here after reading the reviews but won't be going back. The waitress brought out cake stands, with rolls on with different fillings and with assorted cakes and scones on. We had small finger...rolls each, scone each and a couple of other cakes, which, by the time we ate the sandwiches and scones, had melted over the side of the cake stand. It was a boiling hot day but I don't think the air conditioning was on, of the cakes were just blobs of chocolate by the time we left. When we asked for the bill, it was more than it should have been, when we pointed this out to the waitress she blamed it on the till. Last night the of us were ill, either being sick o...
Went on Saturday for breakfast with my daughter and mother. We all ordered the regular breakfast, highly recommend good quality food cooked perfectly. Breakfast comes with a shot of orange juice. Cakes look lovely will need to return to try them
Called in Sunday lunch time on the off chance, ordered breakfast and partner had Welsh rarebit. All good apart from the toast on Welsh rare bit wasnt toasted on both sides which made it a tad soggy and the grilled tomatoes still had core in. Book a table now
Came here with friends for lunch...it was busy which was nice to see...the food arrived in good time and was tasty and very well presented...the drinks were good, my only issue was the café latte was small a choice of sizes would be nice.
I have booked the afternoon for people as it was my grandmother birthday, eating was nice and much of it, all for such a reasonable price! so a nice afternoon, my oma loved her birthday contract! would recommend!
excellent eating, very clean friendly staff. only mistakes were the service that staff were standing there, chatting, were slow to take their order, despite this I would visit again.
