This is a difficult review because the food was amazing and a couple staff members were super sweet, but be forewarned, most do not speak English. I suspect one at least just pretends not to. They are also rather impatient with English speaking customers even when I was extremely patient and smiled the whole time. My biggest complaint was the swearing in front of my grandkids. Not all of the staff, but sadly, it appears the managing staff was the worst. Also, a poor DoorDash driver came in for an order that had disappeared from the front counter just ahead of his arrival. Cubans! Why y'all been gatekeeping this place? I'm visiting here from Kansas City and ran into this place. OMG I've never had such good coffee in my life and I've lived in Ecuador and Columbia. For a short time tho. The coffee reminds me so much from those areas. Cafe con leche and the cappuccino is a must here. The pastries are phenomenal here. My favorites were the guava and cheese and the coconut. I've tried their other breakfast and other sandwiches and these folks just do not miss. To top it off, my last day they served me fresh pastries out of the oven so it came hot. OMG! The food is fie here and you won't be disappointed. Provecho
We stopped by for coffee, and my 4-year-old needed to use the restroom. They refused to let him use it, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. It's hard to believe that they would deny a child access to the bathroom. For me, the service gets a zero.
My fiance and I stopped in coming home from vacation in st Augustine and had 2 stuffed yucas. She is a very picky eater and an acclaimed cook in her own right. We both absolutely loved it. Perfectly coated and fried to perfection. Book a table now
Order delivery Cuban sandwich with fries. Missing fries and instead of a can drink I got a bottle and I have no bottle opener while at work
This is a fantastic little café that serves incredible coffee, delicious Cuban sandwiches, and has a lovely staff behind the counter.
Had the Cafe con Leche, Empanada de Carne, Guava and cheese pastry, and a Tres leches all were amazing
