A good place to get gunsmithing done, if you are not in a big hurry. A very good place to try out something you might want to purchase, if the rental counter has your product in inventory. (This is the only reason I go, but it is in my opinion a very good reason for it to be here. Motorized target holders that can accommodate the requirements for practice with defensive handguns at reasonable defensive handgun distances is handy; I’d use it for that if it weren’t so unpleasant on the firing line—see “downside” below. The staff here are phenomenal. My dad and I came and shot for the first time and while the venue was busy, we were still given time to be walked through the registration process and rental process. While on the range the Safeties were exceptionally helpful in showing functionality and repairs of weapon systems. Our rental MP5SD had jamming issues and the staff gave us extra time and ammunition to compensate for the time and ammo lost while they did troubleshooting on the gun. The entire time was a 10/10 experience and I intend on returning soon.
I rented a 10mm Sig P320. Every 2 or 3 shots, it jammed. I had the range officer look at it. It was filthy. I turned back in and told them I could not shoot it with those problems. I had to keep the ammo and expected that they would credit me back for the rental, but not so. Otherwise I enjoyed my time there.
Great range. Staff were nice with my handicapped parents. Weren't too busy so they were nice enough to give me an extra few minutes on my time after I spent it all teaching my parents how to shoot. Hungry people be warned: The restaurant fries the chicken in the same oil as the fish. The burgers are good!
