I have come past this place so many times and finally, my regular dining buddies chose it for our catchup dinner. It’s a funky little (as in small space inside) restaurant but big on popularity. There is seating outside on the pavement which is popular with dog owners, families or just people wanting to enjoy the lifestyle of Fitzroy Collingwood. Menu is extensive and caters for all tastes and dietaries. Vegetarians and vegans can be assured of a variety of choices here. A jug of sangria is $20 and there is enough for two drinks for four people. I had the double tofu asada with grilled tofu which was plenty for me.Portion sizes are generous. Service is fast. I remember going to trippy taco years ago and loved it. I finally got it back and was soou deeply disappointed. it was like a happy memory to have destroyed! nothing had taste, it was so simple and boring. so much was made of a glass or dose, and not made to house. the vegan cheese was like rotten plastic and I had to scrape it off from everything because he ruined it. we ordered tofu tacos, pommes, drinks. too sad to make photos. it was also so expensive for what it was. I was shocked! would rather give a star, but this app forces a minimum of two for vegan places.
They serve the best food in the world. If I had the means, I would travel from Germany to Melbourne just to have one of their incredibly tasty Special Quesadillas with a side of their unique and extremely delicious fries. If possible, I would eat there every day for the rest of my life. I highly recommend that you go there as soon as possible.
Lovely place! Love the vegetarian spin on mexican food. Love the tofu tacos! And taquitos! Not a fan of black bean taco tbh they were quite dry. The selection of sauces is quite good! Will come back! Book a table now
AMAZING!!! We had nachos and a mixed burrito. The portions are big and good value and the food is delicious!! Definitely worth trying out! Also the atmosphere is really nice as cosy:

This is the best vegan burrito I have ever had! I always get excited for a trippy taco vegan burrito with vegan cheese - it's absolutely delicious!
