After a day on our skis, we we're looking forward to have our dinner across the street of the hotel. As we we're hungry we also ordered the tomatoo soup as started. Mmmmmh just delicous with the Gin-sahne (very refined taste)The main dishes were huge, but refined tastes. We almost couldn't finish our plates because of the large amount of food.As hotel guest of the brauhaus we receveid a 20% discount on food and beverages. Very reasonable prices and we didn't had to wait long to have our starters or main dishes.We forgot for the next day (a saturday) to reserve a table, but as we we're early we we're lucky to still get a table for 2, so we could taste again there delicious food.PS: If you're...
A great find of a hotel in a great location. Fabulous accommodation, very clean and comfortable. The owner's parents were very helpful and efficient. The restaurant staff in the evenings were superb, particularly the red-headed lady who managed to control our unruly group very effectively and with great humour. Sadly, on the Saturday evening it took over 90 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did some parts of the meal were cold. Such a shame for what would otherwise have been a 10 out of 10 experience. I was leading a group of 13 people and was highly embarrassed that they could not eat at an appropriate hour after a long day on a motorcycle tour. Probably will not return.
Stayed at Center Parcs and decided to try this local restaurant instead of the bery anonymous offers at the center itself.We got some very tasty and massive portions of haxe and schnitzel, the latter with a excellent mushroom sauce.Even for the kids the were a nice variety of meals to choose from.Only minus would be the home brewed beer. Had the dark pilsner which in my taste was quite average and nothing special.The total bill for 3 children and 5 adults came to less than €90 - a real barging compared to what you would get for the same amount at Center Parcs.
We stayed at Center Parc for the weekend and the food in the park was marginal. We came across the Troll Haus, which was no more than 1/2 a mile away, and were pleased with the excellent quality food and service. The beer has a distinct yet quite perfect taste. We ate the Haxe and Schweinebraten which were cooked to perfection and had a nice gravy. Presentation and quality was almost like home cooked. And the price, for the quantity of food, a real bargain! We highly recommend it!

We stayed at Center Parcs in Medebach and found this gem. It's in easy walking distance which is a great plus as the beer was excellent. They brew their own a lager type, bitter and a wheat. Food was beautiful, we had 12 in our group and we tried a variety including a veggie. The pork knuckle with potato dumplings was fantastic. I would most definitely go again.
a nice modern place for good traditional food. Just a shame that the Krustenbraten was apparently warmed up - the meat was dry and the crust not cripsy but fluffy. The cook apologized, as this is not the way it should be. so let's give them the benefit of the doubt, that next time, it will be better …
Great food at a reasonable price and they brew their own beer which is great. The restaurant has just had a complete renovation. The old copper beer brewing vats are still on display.
When staying in center parcs hochsauerland we lunched here twice and went for dinner once. The food is great, the beer is good and the staff friendly. Prices are very reasonable.
