Sometimes I'm just craving rice with something saucy on top. I have always wanted to try Tropical Caribbean Cuisine so with all my work from home time, I take my lunch hour to drive there to pick up some takeout. I recently noticed they're right across the street from another Caribbean restaurant, serving essentially the same food. Interesting not sure who came first. If you have been there, you know what I'm talking about. Oxtails are good I could always use with more but definitely a good portion for lunch. However, my favorite was the stewed chicken. The tomato base and the tender chicken was delicious with the saucy rice and beans. Be sure to ask for extra gravy! The beef patties are tas...

I was looking for a Jamacian jerk chicken place and one of the locals recommended Tropical, it is not Jamaica, the owners are Indian and Dominican. But it smelled delicious. I took my sisters and kids. We ordered the jerk chicken, rice, and mixed veggies. If you like spicy food well this is it. It had good flavor but I could only eat a little bit as it was way to spicy for me to eat, my lips felt swollen. My kids couldn't even eat any of it. I also ordered the beef patty which was really good. The service was good and they were very nice. The portions are huge. I recommend this place if you love spicy food. I gave it 3 stars because I spent a lot of money and it was to spicy for any of us to...

I was extremely disappointed with the service that I received from Kelly. She was not personable in the slightest and was on her phone the whole time. She was talking to the other girl and waited till I got in there to replace the food. She really needs to be talked to about her customer service because if she was graded for that she would have gotten an F. I am never going to return here and I advise anyone that is thinking of partaking in this restaurant, please go somewhere else and save your time.

Ownership has changed different store name, no longer Tropical Caribbean Cuisine (now called something Spice) different servers and smaller plates. Food is still good, portions smaller now and prices are same for the smaller portions. Not sure if I will return, things were perfect like they were, but perhaps the pandemic necessitated the changes. The curry goat and chicken dishes are my favorites. The beef patties are much better than average. I think I will try the other one close by for comparison. Book a table now

TCC (Spice it Up) serves some of the best Caribbean food in the Atlanta Metro area. The beef patties are juicy and packed with flavor. You absolutely have to try the roti! And then there's their jerk chicken—it's hands down the best I've ever tasted. The jerk chicken sandwich for just $8 is simply irresistible. No matter your location, this restaurant is definitely worth the trip! I’d give it six stars if I could!

We enjoyed our food at Tropical Caribbean Cuisine. My husband ordered two stew chicken platters to go. The amount of food we received was plentiful. We had stew chicken, cabbage, rice peas and plantains. It was seasoned well and really tasty. I couldn't finish all of my food because it was a lot. I have to say we got our money's worth at this place. I would definitely return if we were back in the area again.

I enjoyed my meal, which included curry goat, cabbage, and mac and cheese. Everything was tasty, although I wouldn't choose the cabbage again since it had a strange flavor. I highly recommend the incubator; it’s delicious and has a nice kick of spice. The total was $20, which is likely enough food for two meals or one very large serving.

I ordered take-out and had the Island Breeze Chicken with Mac n Cheese and jerk fried rice. The food was ready and hot when I arrived, staff was friendly, and most importantly everything was delicious! The portion is so big it will last me three meals! Great value! Update: This really did last me three meals Book a table now

The restaurant has undergone a name change, but the overall vibe from the staff is fantastic. The food is delicious; I had the jerk chicken, and it was prepared perfectly! The rice and peas were tasty, though a bit heavy on the salt. Otherwise, it would have earned a 5-star rating.
