Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Hey there! I'm the food safety leader for a restaurant which I will not name, so I have a particular interest in it of course. I went to pick up some lunch here, and ordered a chicken bacon ranch Flatbread. I asked for no tomatoes, because I don't like tomatoes. I watched, as the employee made my Flatbread as normal, then looked at the kitchen monitor and saw it had no tomatoes. So he removed the tomatoes from the sandwich and proceeded. I asked for no tomatoes because I don't like them. What if someone had an allergy though? The residues from foods can be just as serious as the food itself.

The smoothie selection is impressive. The smoothie I ordered was flavorful, but nothing to write home about. But I did enjoy it. The flatbread I had was bursting with flavor. Very delicious, but it definitely needed more to it. There was a ton of empty flatbread space, which left me still feeling hungry after spending $10.09 on my sandwich, smoothie, and chips. I will likely give this place another try when I am only a bit hungry. It was enjoyable, but for $10+, I expect to at least be satisfied and not hungry when leaving.

Smoothies were great! I ordered a baja chicken wrap. i took a bite and there were no beans or rice. cheese wasn?t melted. pretty disappointed. i get this wrap every time and this has to be the worst.

Avocolada is soo ?! It?s smooth like avocado, with sweetness like coconut &a hint of lime ? I?d recommend this if you have a scratchy throat, so good!

I had the Baja chicken sluice. It was pretty delicious. I liked the pickled onion especially. Sunrise sunset smoothie is also delicious.
