Troquet on South - Table reservation

I never leave reviews for anything, but I had such a great experience here that I think I should say something. My friend and I came here for my birthday. We sat in a cozy stand on the back. The ambience was perfect, intimate and calm. Our waiter, Anthony, was a total treasure and went the extra mile for us all night. The homemade rolls with honey butter that he brought out for us first were probably the best I've ever eaten, and I'm afraid I could long them for the rest of my life. I got the Steak Frites, the friend got the Risotto and we separated a bottle of white wine. Everything was perfect, and I really don't use this word easily. The 4 of us went to Troquet for BD and NYE celebration. It is now an annual event for us. We love that the place is not packed like most places in downtown. Most important of all, they have great wine pairing with their appetizers and entrees!! The NYE menu is a three-course primary mix and everything we had delicious! We also enjoyed the French bistro environment. If you are a wine lover OR a food, this is a must to visit!

If I could add more than 5 stars, I would. We brought our customers to a group dinner and everyone loved it. The food is incredible, the service was excellent, and the wine list is probably the best in Boston. We had a perfect experience and I would definitely be looking for business dinners or anyone looking for an incredible meal / experience.
