What a charming place for a lunch date! We stumbled upon Trullo D'Oro by chance, and it proved to be a real gem. The quiet dining room created an intimate ambiance, ideal for our outing. Our server was warm and attentive, providing prompt and friendly service. We both opted for pasta dishes, which were absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. While it may not have been an exceptional experience, Trullo D'Oro definitely exceeded our expectations and offered a beautiful setting for a lovely, laid-back lunch. Down from Boston for the weekend to visit the old neighborhood and family. Tried this restaurant for the first time. Upon entering we were greeted by the owners Gino and Maria who were very friendly and made you feel right at home Restaurant has a very relaxed, with a comfortable atmosphere like we were in a Trattoria in Italy Food was absolutely wonderful and service was impeccable. This will now be our go to Italian restaurant anytime we come back to NY to visit. This is a hidden gem on Long Island and the owners make you feel like family Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Had dinner with 2 friends. Everything about the restaurant was terrific. The food was wonderful and felt like I was in Italy. I am not so easy to please but I absolutely recommend this restaurant. The owner puts his heart and sole into his restaurant and is a great host. I have never met him before so I am being straight forward about my recommendation.
The entire experience was great. It is a family owned restaurant that puts their heart and sole into their food and care for their customers. The food was excellent including the homemade cherry Gelato. Ask for Gino when you get there. First time there and will be coming back in the future.

I ordered the mussels and beet salad, but unfortunately, they did not impress me. As a result, I wasn't even interested in trying any of the main courses. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 1, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 3.
