Down from Boston for the weekend to visit the old neighborhood and family. Tried this restaurant for the first time. Upon entering we were greeted by the owners Gino and Maria who were very friendly and made you feel right at home Restaurant has a very relaxed, with a comfortable atmosphere like we were in a Trattoria in Italy Food was absolutely wonderful and service was impeccable. This will now be our go to Italian restaurant anytime we come back to NY to visit. This is a hidden gem on Long Island and the owners make you feel like family Highly recommend giving this place a try.
I recently dined at this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the [specific dish] and it was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous and the presentation was beautiful. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the plating. I first came to this restaurant a year ago and I have been back at least once a month since then. It has such a friendly vibe and such an efficient, knowledgeable staff. I had the stuffed artichoke special last night and the trout oreganato, so good! I have never been disappointed in their food. The best was arugula salad, which doesn’t sound like much but it is perfect. It is my go-to place for Italian food, I love it there
I went here with my family tonight and absolutely loved it. The food tasted amazing, the atmosphere was beautiful, traditional. The service was great; probably some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the chicken parm, my grandmother had the eggplant parm, my wife the bolognese pasta and spaghetti and meatballs for the kids. The dessert was delightful as well. I will definitely be coming back! Food: 5

Had dinner with 2 friends. Everything about the restaurant was terrific. The food was wonderful and felt like I was in Italy. I am not so easy to please but I absolutely recommend this restaurant. The owner puts his heart and sole into his restaurant and is a great host. I have never met him before so I am being straight forward about my recommendation.
The entire experience was great. It is a family owned restaurant that puts their heart and sole into their food and care for their customers. The food was excellent including the homemade cherry Gelato. Ask for Gino when you get there. First time there and will be coming back in the future.
The chef Gino is very creative: thanks to him we always taste many different meats and fish, because the restaurant menu is truly complete. very welcoming and clean place, one of a kind golden trullo, I highly recommend it
We are new to Hicksville and so happy to have come in with my wife . Local place with real Italy feel , fresh taste with European portions (not huge) to ensure room for delicious homemade ricotta cheese cake !

Wonderful experience. Food was outstanding, Gino and his wife Maria couldn’t be more personable and accommodating. Fresh pasta and bolognese, pesto sauces were delicious. We felt like we had dinner in Italy.
