"Nice food, good service, relaxed atmosphere. One of those that's not as busy as it deserves to be (or at least it wasn't when my son and I visited early evening during the week)."

Walking up Borough High Street, I passed Truly Indian on my way to sainsburys. I noticed that the chicken tikka wrap was back on their lunch time menu. It had not been advertised for while but historically I had at least one a week when there were last on the menu. They were amazing £5.95 for the wrap and a drink. So decided to have one again, this time its advertisd at £4.95 but no drink. Not to worry dont like fizzy drinks anyway. So at my desk and half way through it and although the sauce had changed and not as good as previous the main issue was the chicken. I decided to unwrap it and clearly the old chuncks of chicken tika have been replaced with finer cuts of chicken with no tikka. And...

Unpretentious Indian restaurant serving a good range of dishes in a clean environment with attentive staff.Nine of us descended on this rather small but pleasant restaurant and enjoyed our meals. Particularly interesting was the wide range of vegetarian dishes, those of which we tasted were delicious (two types of lentils, potatoes and a well worth trying aubergine dish). Also some more interesting breads (chili naan, for example).Coming in at about GBP 150 for nine of us with a mix of starters, breads, rice as well as mains and drinks, it's certainly somewhere I would recommend.

There's very little to say about this place that's positive. Looks awful from the outside, not great on the inside. Terrible service. Even worse food. There was no hint of spices used or vegetables my curries at home are an awful lot better than this, it tasted like it was from a jar (a cheap one at that). The poppadoms were soaked in oil and the chutneys tasteless and didn't taste fresh. Tiny portions, not cheap. Really bland. My friend ordered a vindaloo and it could have been a balti (albeit an awful one). Never again. Don't waste your money.

So after a poor review at my last outing, I was passing the restaurant and saw the sign for Falafal Wrap. They have created a takeaway area at the front of the restaurant serving up Lamb, Chicken, Falafal and other wraps. Costing £4 I thought Id treat my vegan taste buds (Yes Ive turned vegan since my last review). All I can say freshly made falafel with all the trimming. Just finished and want another. The service was great too. Much better falafel than you get at Borough Market. Book a table now

There were not many Indian restaurants nearby our hotel, so finding this restaurant was a blessing...Delicious food..We ordered Dal Tadka, Veg. Manchurian, Chilly Chicken and 2 plain rotis. Everything was well in quantity and very tasty and appropriately spiced. I was very impressed by such good quality food in London. Also the ambiance was very good..latest bollywood songs playing in the restaurant. Its worth the money. Sadly it was closed on Sunday.

The red interiors giving an uncertain first impression is completely dispelled as soon as you order the food.Dal Bukhara and Kadhaai paneer have been my favourite. It is extremely authentic. The staff is helpful. My first visit got me a slight discount and the second visit a free glass of wine, as a gesture perhaps for coming for the second time!Highly recommended.

The food here is really tasty and if you ask the captian to make it spicy they will make it spicy!! Pretty close to real Indian flavours and taste. The only issue is QUANTITY, so be prepared to order loads if you are really hungry..... A small restaurant but Overall a good place to eat if you are near and around London Bridge.

I've been here twice after a trip to the nearby Market Porter Pub and am always pleasantly surprised by the food. Have tried the nearby London Bridge Tandori and found it average and not great value. Near London Bridge station, so suitable for the quick dash for the last train. Book a table now

Our waiter took forever to take our orders, and when he eventually came he was abrupt and dismissive. Not at all a good service experience. The food was really good though and the portions were quite big.
