I absolutely love this place! It’s a small, unassuming spot right off the highway and just a few minutes from downtown St. Paul. They serve some of the best croissants I’ve ever tasted—only rivaled by a top-rated pastry chef in Missouri. The filling is just perfect, not overwhelming or overly sweet, allowing the buttery, flaky dough to truly shine. The Banh Mi is out of this world, and everything is reasonably priced. If you’re considering stopping by to eat, don’t hesitate—just go!
I can't talk for their sandwiches and what, but I had their pastries. As far as they go, they're pretty good. It seems somewhat different about them in yeast/strength and the resulting taste. After living in France, I would argue that this is less authentic than French, but still quite good pastries. For more authentic French bakery, I would recommend trying Rose Street Patisserie.
We have not found another place, locally, that compares to the croissants here. They are hands down the best croissants and still the same as when I was a kid. We easily spend here because we love their croissants so much! Get there early though if you want to have variety. It does sell out fast. That's just how good they are. Flakey, soft, fresh.

I've been coming here since the 90's. Their croissants are the best I have ever had. The iced Trung Nam coffee is strong and yummy. The Bahn Mi is a mist, too.
