Little to almost no cheese in kunefe because cheap charlie owner of the eatery,most food have leaks of ingredients to make them proper but despite all of these negatives these place got good rating which is should be occurred by too much sugar intaked in body of customers I guess otherwise this eatery does not deserve such rating no way
Delicious home made Turkish food served with a smile! This place is a gem. Perfect for brunch or lunch. It is just few tables in a grocery store, but the food is made to order. Bread and lachmajun are baked on premises. The service is amazing. We also purchased few Turkish deli items impossible to find in Queens. We will be back!
Overall, dining at this mom and pops vibe Turkish restaurant/grocery was a delightful experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of authentic Turkish cuisine served with a side of warmth and hospitality. Everyone was friendly. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings.
We were in the neighborhood driving around and I got hungry. Googled Turkish food and this came up, I am super happy I found this place. Cozy Turkish restaurant with a section with specialty groceries. The mixed grill didn’t disappoint. Everything comes fresh off the grill, cooked to perfection. Haven’t found anything as close to Istanbul-style cooking as I have here at Turkuaz. Affordable, too!
Ordered food online for pick up. Had to wait for only a few minutes. Cashier said to call her next time. She said Grub Hub charges more than restaurant. Staff was very friendly. Food was delicious.
