I recently ordered a delivery from Tuy's Thai Restaurant in Bern. Unfortunately, the Chicken Krapow didn't quite hit the mark for authenticity. The chicken wasn't minced, which is a key aspect of an authentic Krapow. Additionally, the dish lacked the traditional basil flavor and the right balance of spices that make Krapow so distinctive. The Papaya Salad was also quite bland and didn't resemble the vibrant, tangy flavors of a proper Thai Papaya Salad. Overall, the dishes fell short of my expectations based on my experiences with authentic Thai cuisine. One of my favourite places to eat out when I’m in Bern. Very tasty and friendly. The atmosphere could be nicer but I‘m actually a bit glad that it is the way it is since most people just get takeout so there‘s usually space left inside the restaurant.
Maybe a little bit more expensive than other takeaways but the service was nice and the food absolutely delicious. The servings are huge and they gladly pack up your leftover and add some fresh rice for you to take it home.
Quite simply the best Thai restaurant in the region! Here you get a Pat Thai that you only know from Thailand.
