We had a fantastic dinner tonight. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious! Both my partner and I had the roasted fish, which was one of the best I've had in a long time. As I have allergies, the waiter kindly replaced my side dish with a house salad at no extra cost. The sweet potato fries were really delicious, and the mac and cheese from the kids' menu was a hit with our three-year-old. We enjoyed the atmosphere and playing Trivial Pursuit while waiting for our food, which arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy. Our dessert, the flourless chocolate brownie, was also delicious, as were the gummy treats that came with our son's dessert....
My dining experience tonight was excellent. I tried the newly added chicken sandwich and it was truly the best I've ever had. In the past, I've had some disappointing chicken sandwich encounters, but this was far from that. I hope they keep it on the menu because I will definitely be returning to order it again. The food here is consistently good quality and delicious. Our waitress was also lovely and provided great service. I will definitely be coming back now that I know about this amazing chicken sandwich.
As a family that enjoys fine dining, we've had experiences where, when the kitchen is busy, we've been offered complimentary drinks or bread service to hold us over. Those small gestures can really improve a dining experience and prevent a negative review by making customers feel valued. Unfortunately, we were offered nothing. I'm truly disappointed with this experience, especially since it was a special occasion. I can sense that the owner wants to improve things, but it seems the staff is struggling.
Our dining experience at the Twisted Willow this evening was mostly enjoyable. However, when we saw that carrot cake was on the dessert menu, we couldn't resist treating ourselves. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The cake was rather mediocre, topped with dry nuts, and came with just a small dollop of frosting on the side. Seriously???

This charming restaurant is a hidden gem. The food was amazing - we tried the chicken pasta with vodka sauce and the curry coconut crusted shrimp. The creme Brûlée was out of this world. The atmosphere and the service from the hostess were just okay, but the waitstaff was fantastic.
what a great little restaurant. the bartender was great and knowledgeable. eating was notch and a very price! we had no reservations they made in 20z place for us. Thank you.

The manfashion was a bit sweet with way too much ice. The Walleye was great and loved the sauce!
