Update: The owner reached out to me and showed genuine interest in improving the experience. Kudos to them. This ice cream shop is typically run by younger staff, which can lead to some mishaps. The process is straightforward: you pay, they give you ice cream. Most of the time, it goes smoothly. However, on the rare occasion when things go awry, the lack of adult supervision is noticeable. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because they at least made an effort to show they cared, and we did receive ice cream, even though it wasn't exactly what we had ordered.
We absolutely LOVE Twist n Shake! Everything we tried had tasted great, the staff are very friendly, the wait time prices are very reasonable, the kids are doing a wonderful job. We highly recommend them to any locals we know craving some good ice cream!The only downside is they close when the heat is gone/when school season starts (understandably! … but we count down the days when they reopen!! They are always worth the wait.We couldn’t recommend them enough!
I used to come here all the time last year for orange sherbet whenever they had it...this year it seems like it's orange colored vanilla with a hint of orange flavor. Sucks, I live right down the road and would come all the time. Still a nice place that's been around a long time and the kids that are working are always sweet.
Ice cream is fantastic and you get a lot for your money, food is mediocre at best and takes forever. Definitely go for the ice cream though. The Tropical Sunrise Sundae is ammmmazing! Book a table now

Always great ice cream. This is a local treat and is a great part of any summer fun. Even when they are busy, it is worth the wait.
The food and ice cream at this restaurant are excellent. I especially enjoy the cheese curds, and the prices are reasonable.
